Gutland is the first feature film by Luxembourgish director Govinda Van Maele. The film, which combines elements of thriller, film noir, surrealism and Heimatfilm, had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2017. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film achieved a positive rating of 80%.

Gutland. won the 2018 Luxembourg Film Prize for Best Picture and Vicky Krieps for Best Actress.
