The Guttland region is rich in impressive castles and fortresses that impress visitors with their historical charm and architectural splendor. From remarkable castles to picturesque fortresses, these structures reflect the rich history and cultural diversity of the region.
A particular highlight is the Valley of the Seven Castles, which stretches over 24 kilometers and includes the castles of Mersch, Schoenfels, Koerich, the two castles of Ansemburg, as well as the castles of Hollenfels and Septfontaines. Each year, some castles are also brought back to life through traditional festivals.
