Description
Circular walk in Schoenfels featuring rock formations, sandstone caves and unspoiled nature.
This hilly trail links the valley of the Mamer to that to the Eisch by passing near Claushaff and skirting the Buerggruef. It crosses the magnificent forest of Mierscherwald. Highlights of this circular route are the Mammerleen Caves, an area of natural sandstone caves and a network of man-made tunnels, and Schoenfels Castle at the trailhead. While the Auto-pédestre circular walks can be discovered in both directions, the recommended direction for this trail is clockwise.
