The Siwe Brécke-Wee ("Seven Bridges Trail") is a true gem for nature lovers and families. Covering approximately 5 kilometers, this picturesque circular hiking trail winds through dense forests, over small wooden bridges, and along a gently flowing stream. Thanks to its idyllic surroundings and numerous discoveries, this trail is perfect for a varied day trip. Join us for a perfect day on this unique Guttland.Trail!

9:30 AM – Breakfast at Boulangerie-Pâtisserie Jos & Jean-Marie

Before starting the hiking adventure, a stop at the traditional Boulangerie-Pâtisserie Jos & Jean-Marie in Bettborn is a must. Fresh croissants, crispy baguettes, and delicious coffee make for the perfect start to the day. If you want to enjoy a small picnic along the way, you can also grab some snacks to take with you.

10:15 AM – Hiking on the Siwe Brécke-Wee

Now it's time to get moving! The hiking trail starts at the Sankt-Rochus Chapel in Reimberg. From here, the path meanders through enchanting forests, past clearings, and into the legendary Schankegriecht valley, named after the myth of the "Schankemännchen," a ghostly figure that once frightened villagers.

Highlight of this trail are the small wooden bridges, which cross over a charming little stream multiple times. Here, you can breathe deeply, relax, and fully immerse yourself in nature. Towards the end of the trail, gentle hills and open fields provide stunning views of the peaceful countryside.
